The Deadly Disease

"Finally," my dear ones, "whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." (Philippians 4:8-9)

For all my dear, dear progeny that will become parents or leaders or teachers of the young, hear this. The most important thing to teach children is opposite the contemporary mania to control and perfect all the circumstances of life to re-create children as a self-pleasingly defined persona or for inhabitance in an evolutionary utopian tomorrow. The contemporary pressure to do so however, in this present darkness (Ephesians 6:12), is insidious and strong. But you my beloved, need not be lemmings.

Show the young by your life and relationships that nothing will stop you from standing on the Truth of Jesus Christ because nothing except Him will prohibit the consequences of the fall on this earth or the final judgment. It is sin and its consequences that your children most need a cure for. Do not live in a way that points them toward the removal of all earthly obstacles and the healing of all flesh and blood diseases.

Show God's re-creation of yourself toward the stature of the Savior, to the cure for death itself. With Jesus, your children will never die no matter what diseases they contract or what obstacles they face. For all formulas, technologies, locations, persons, aesthetics, combination of foods, medical treatments, political parties, google searches, and everything lawful that could be used to live toward God in Christ and do the work He gives you, live in moderation toward eternal health and peace.
